The Daily Shoot is the brainchild of James Duncan Davidson and Mike Clark. Each day they post a message on Twitter which describes some type of photo to make. These ideas are meant to inspire people to go out and make photos.
If you are interested in participating, just follow @dailyshoot on Twitter. Reply to the daily assignments on Twitter with a link to your photo. These photos are my attempts at the various daily challenges. I put my photos up on Flickr but you can use whatever you want.
I have really been enjoying this since I love to make photos, but have been in a bit of a slump lately and this incentivizes me to bring out the camera (or even use my iPhone) and get a bit creative. It feels great.
This page is an attempt to mashup the instructions on Twitter and my photos on Flickr.
But I have other plans involving bringing other people's photos.
I know that Duncan has mentioned wanting to do something like this as well.
In the mean time if you are putting your photos on Flickr, you can use machine tags. The form I've been using is:
dailyshoot:date=20091120
Pulling in all the photos with this form of tag will likely be my first order of business.
